More Silliness...

My sweet baby boy. I hate that he's growing up so fast. I can't imagine life without him- it would be pretty dull, that's for sure! When he's not busy getting into trouble he'll sometimes come to me and say "Mommy, I hold you?" Then he'll stroke my hair and say "Mommy's pretty." Oh, It's my favorite when he says that! When he does something nice or obeys when I ask him to do something he'll say with a big smile " I make Mommy happy!" I smile back and say "Yes, you do. I love you." Then he grins and says "I'm your little man!" I swear he couldn't possibly be any cuter! Here are some pictures of his latest shenanigans. Do you think it's a problem that when I catch him doing something naughty now he says "Mommy, take a picture!" ? Lol!

I just thought this picture was cute. He couldn't figure out why he couldn't catch the snowflakes.

I personally think David's bed is really comfortable so it baffles me that I continue to find him sleeping in the strangest places. Yesterday Jason told me to come into Davids room. He asked "Where's David?" I paused because I could hear him breathing but as my eyes searched his bed I couldn't see him anywhere. I was so confused. After a moment Jason chuckled and pulled up the bed skirt...

...Oh...there he is!! Just napping under the bed?? He's such a funny kid!

Here's some of the other ways I have found him sleeping in the last few weeks.

David's obsession lately (besides anything with a plug, outlets, the humidifier, the crock pot, the blender, the mixer, and his radio) has been our vacuum. For weeks he's been taking it out of the closet and rolling it around the house about 10 times a day. I was so tired of getting after him about it so I decided to get him his own. Wow- does he LOVE it. It was one of the best purchases I've ever made. The first night he had it I got up to feed Emily at five in the morning and his bedroom light was on. When he heard me in the kitchen he came bounding out of his room all bright eyed while dragging his vacuum out behind him! I'm pretty sure he'd been up "cleaning" his room for at least an hour! This picture was taken earlier that evening. He insisted it was broken so he went to the garage and got Jason's screw driver. He was obviously concentrating really hard on "fixing it"

David and Greyson were watching a movie together and I thought they looked so cute. They are the best of friends and they both think that the other is the funniest person they know! They CONSTANTLY laugh and copy each other. They have so much fun together and they're also good at getting in trouble together...

...Like here, for example. David thought he needed some milk so he got my soy milk out of the fridge and spilled it on the floor. Then I guess they thought it worked out perfectly since now they could both have a drink at the same time. Oh brother!!

Once again I was searching all over the house to find out where David had disappeared off to and this is where I found him...in the bath tub...with his clothes on. Luckily I walked in right as he was trying to turn on the faucet.

Well, one morning David decided to do his hair all by himself so he got out Jason's pomade and went to town. Oh, and apparently the wall needed some too.

Here's some recent pic's of Emily...

This was Em's first time wearing a dress. It's so fun to have a girl but I felt bad introducing her to the cruel world of tights at such a young age- I'm pretty sure this is her yelling in protest! She definitely looked so cute though.

My little pirate girl! This head band is obviously still a little big and it's always slipping down over her eyes. I think she just takes it as her cue to go to sleep because I always find her napping this way. " Lights out!"

Emily loves to spend time in her bouncer with her toys. She kicks and breaths super fast like babies do when they're happy. It's so fun to watch her grow and develop.

The latest...

Funny story of the day:
Today David and I were playing with Emily. David said "Emily has two eyes and David has two eyes. Emily has two ears and David has two ears! Emily has one nose and David has one nose! Then I said "Oh no! David has teeth but Emily doesn't have any?!" David looked right up at me and said "Oh, we'll get some at the store!!"

When I took this picture I fell in love! She's so precious to me.

Some super cute pics of my happy girl!

Apparently Emily wanted to be in the dark cause every time I turned around she had pulled her hood back down over her face. -So funny!

Yesterday morning David decided to start the day out with a nutritious snack...Brown Sugar- yup, straight from the bag! He was on top of the world enjoying this sweet treat with every lick of his finger until I came along and rained on his parade:(

Then during his nap time he decided he wasn't sleepy so he had some (what was supposed to be) quiet time instead. When I thought he'd been in there long enough I opened the door to find that his room was COMPLETELY upside down!! -Little turkey! All in a day's work, I guess.

The other night Emily was laying on the bed while I was getting David a snack. Her fussing quickly turned to screaming but after a minute or so I noticed it had stopped and David had disappeared. When I went and peeked in the room to see if Emily had fallen asleep I saw that David had gone and gotten his step, climbed up on the bed and was holding the binky in Em's mouth! It was sooo sweet! He's such a nice big brother!

Last weekend Jason and David traded rooms to better accommodate baby sister. Now since David has a new bedroom he decided he needed "new letters" so I got crafty and made both him and Emily new name signs for their rooms. I can't take all the credit though because David helped me paint his letters and I stole the idea for Emily's sign from Lisa who got it from someone else! All in all I thought they both came out really cute and it was a fun little project for David and I to do together. After I hung his he kept looking at it over and over saying "Oh, I yike it Mommy!"
